Singing comes from a desire to tell amazing stories with, whilst standing firmly on a foundation of good singing technique and aim for creating the ultimate freedom of expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My goal is to provide you with a safe space where we can work on developing and strengthening your Authentic Voice – and sometimes even uncover which limiting beliefs or struggles from the past may be standing in the way of your voice reaching its full potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have taught ages 7 – 82yo and everything is tailored to the individual student, so I can take your entire history into account in the process of helping you reach your singing goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Learning to connect with your authentic voice, and find your unique expression

  • Working with the voice and the Singing Body<\/strong> in a holistic way

  • Building your knowledge of healthy singing technique<\/strong>, and structuring a fun and educational Vocal Exercise Regime<\/strong> tailored to you which builds vocal strength, flexibility and focuses on longevity

  • Strengthen your abilities in the areas of: storytelling, singing with intention, character building, text analysis, emotional engagement, performance techniques, music theory and more. <\/strong>

  • Learning about the psychology of the voice. <\/strong>You have the option to work through vocal trauma<\/strong> and with trauma which manifest itself as blockages in your voice and body, limiting your vocal, mental and physical freedom<\/strong>. In my lessons, the voice can be both the subject of the healing and be used as a means of healing and dealing with anxiety, traumas and stress.

    On top of my qualifications as a singer and teacher, having worked through trauma and anxiety myself, not only am I trained to work with it, I have an intimate understanding of their effects on body, voice and mind. In 2020 I released the EP “Growing Pains” + a booklet about using song and songwriting to work through trauma and anxiety.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    MY BACKGROUND<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    I have taught over 60 solo students and coached singers who went on to esteemed Musical Theatre schools in Denmark and London. Some of my students are in larger productions at Det Ny Teater (The New Theatre, DK) and the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen (DK). For 3 years I also worked as a singing instructor at the musical theatre school SceneKunst in Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I am a Danish-born international singer and composer who specialise Nordic and Celtic folk music, blending symphonic elements with ancient soungs and cross-cultural storytelling. My latest project, “Echoes of North”, unites musicians from Scotland and Scandinavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Using my background in Musicology and Comparative Cultural Studies, and skills as a Music Producer, my forte is developing projects which focus on curating cultural heritage and strengthening intercultural connections through music and performance. Specialising in Viking Age\/Early Music – also playing the lyre – and collaborated with choirs, museums, festivals and universities across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Furthermore I specialise in Musical Whisky Experiences, the most well-known one being “Whisky & Witches”, which explores the role of women in the history of alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Over the years I have performed in venues such as Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Kronborg Castle, the National Museum of Denmark, Schloss Thurnau (GER), and in venues across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
